Anne is passionate about families and children.  She began the practice of law in Scott county, Missouri as the only public defender assigned to the entire county.  After two years in the rural area, she and her family moved to the Kansas City metro area where she was able to join the Department of Social Services representing the Children's Division.  After 8 years with the DSS, she joined Catherine at the Earnshaw Hobbs Law Firm PC continuing her advocacy of families in private practice. Anne enjoys a challenge and has taken a part time position as an Adjunct Professor at Missouri Western State University teaching legal studies classes in the evening when she has finished court for the day. 

In her position with the Earnshaw Hobbs Law Firm PC, Anne is responsible for the adoptions and child abuse cases, guardianships and dissolution and paternity matters.  Anne enjoys helping families resolve parenting issues and counseling clients on issues related to their children and loved ones. 

Anne is also grateful for her personal life experiences that have enabled her to be empathetic with her clients.

BA, Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, 1989
Graduated Summa Cum Laude and the Honors Program. Majored in History, Minor in Economics
